This project was a study on recent investment trends in housing development in Boston, MA through qualitative analysis and mapping. Using building permit data for the city of Boston and the American Community Survey (ACS), I created maps to visualize hot spots in housing investments and trends in median rent increases throughout the city. This project was developed through a course titled “GIS and Spatial Analysis” at Brown University, taught by Parker VanValkenburgh.
